I have been to this place many a time even I have stayed in this city now today I am going again to this city Vasai (Bassein).
I am Travelling for my camper van which is in Vasai so I thought let’s get some information about Vasai.

Things That I never knew about Vasai.

Vasai named after its Vasa Tribe This Tribes Apparently had travelled to the north and after Vasa Rajasthan. No Trace of the tribes

Portugal’s king often name Bassein as Evora a city in Portugal where Evora means "Yew Tree"

Even Portugal’s  nicknamed the city as "Dom Baçaim (Bassein)" mocking the numerous "Dom (a Portugal’s  title for Sir)" people residing in the city of Bassein

The prosperity of Bassein increased such that it was considered among the richest cities among the Portugal’s colonies in the world at that time.

The dominion of the Portugal’s  in this part increased and the city became the capital of the Portugal’s  Province of the North of India; Goa being the capital of Portugal’s  Province of South.

Who Built Vasai Fort? I would say that Portugal’s  made that fort no infact the Bahadur_Shah_of_Gujarat was the one who started making his fort and when Portugal’s  Governor Da Cunha Got this information and he took advise form one of his council of Fidalgos members (Fidalgos is a traditional title of Portugal’s  nobility).and then 150 ships with not sure numbers of soldiers but then 150 ships means something big. Then on 20th January 1533 was the day of war between Bahadur_Shah_of_Gujarat & Portugal’s  Governor Da Cunha. Which was won by Portugal’s  Governor Da Cunha and Bahadur_Shah_of_Gujarat signed the Treaty of Bassein of 1534.Then Captain Garcia de Sá was appointed to build Fort Bassein and the work began on 20 January 1536.

Fort Bassein has witness 3 battles.

1) Portugal’s &Maratha War from 1737-1739
2) British Maratha War in 1780.
3) Portugal’s  Bahadur_Shah_of_Gujarat 20th January 1533
Today's vasai is 380 km² however Bessein was much bigger not than "Sopara" (सोपारा)(Sanskrit: शूर्पारक, Śūrpāraka) some identified with the Ophi

St. Gonsalo Garcia, The first Indian born to attain sainthood. Was born in Vasai, during his lifetime, the town was under Portugal’s  colonial rule.
St. Gonsalo Garcia is the patron saint of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Vasai

Fact of the day: Today Is Easter it is most important and oldest festival of the Christian Church, celebrating the resurrection of Christ and held between 21 March and 25 April, on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the northern spring equinox or Pink Moon, the weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday.
And this phase of earth time stated as the day of the sun and the night of moon.

The Battle of Territory

Welcome to Hum Traveller.

The Battle of Territory is the oldest battle in the human civilisation that had lead tribal infusion. All those Kings who acquired maximum land on earth are the greatest and likewise human animal too needs space for living and theses wonderful creature of nature had find the most safest place where they have been loved pampered petted .when human started using weapons made up of stone they used sharp edgy and pointed stones to make weapons  and in the animal kingdom its different animals have their own weapons claws, teeth,  when human made the first thing using stone could be anything like a hammer, cutter, all these happened only by understanding animals human always accompanied by one or the other animal who are human friendly to human and Cat’s are supposable the oldest and they had managed to survive all along with human race

When I saw Lal-la and Bade fighting for their territory the first thing it started with their marking and taking over marking by the opponent lead to fight to acquire and win over the opponent but the war between 2 was not settled as Bade always intruded over Lal-la's Territory and Lal-la was cool calm

Bade actually Elder to Lal-La and Kali was the youngest one  Bade was well built tall about a meter when he stand on his 2 legs they both weighted same although Kali was lighter than them Bade was more fit than Lal-la.

Kali was guest the Queen of the Territory her presences was never felt like disturbing to Bade and Lal-la either minded playing and spending time with her and she choose Lal-la over Bade I am not sure as why and what basis leaving it here

Our 1Bhk Flat was one of the deadliest war zone if we are not home.

Once we all were out at to attain a family function and our house had witnessed this  first ever war that took place between Lal-la and Bade where victim of war was a wall clock, some kitchen utensil some grocery and some perishable all of them were dead Lal-la was at one corner and Bade was at other Kali trying to understand as to what has happened later as my mom decided to divide the territory as they would not see each other they will not fight that did worked well but the 2 war broke on the very next day over their food my mom used to give feed in one container for trio now this has change it to 2 container Kali was welcome in both the container

Will continue with few more stories with the Trio again until then
